For Gerald Searle and business partner Phillip Curnuck, the choice was a no-brainer! The two have a successful history of operating tourist parks ranging from the Snowy Mountains to Northern Queensland. When the opportunity arose to acquire a tourist park in the small, rural town of Crows Nest, less than two hours from Brisbane, they jumped at the chance. Like many people who live in the city, choosing to spend recreational time in an area like Crows Nest wasn’t high on their list of things to do. However, it wasn’t long before the two found themselves drawn to the wide open spaces, peace and raw beauty of the area .
