The area has two National Parks; Ravensbourne and Crows Nest with walking tracks, picnic spots and lookouts for your enjoyment. Cooby Dam, Cressbrook Dam and Lake Perseverance are ideal locations for water sport activities, camping, fishing and boating.

​For those who wish to keep their feet dry, there are many beautiful bush walking and birding trails offering a unique opportunity to explore and observe local flora and fauna in their natural environment.
